October 8, 2009 I pulled up to Via San Clemente in Montebello for the protest of the "eradication" of ALL medical marijuana dispensaries in Los Angeles. I was going to go in and try to get in the heads of the opposition but my partner in crime (my daughter) couldn't come at the last minute because of a job interview. The protestors were already there in force and it was 11:05 am. They saw me looking like I was going to turn into the country club which could mean that I was going to the training. I was driving a late model black Mercedes so I fit the profile. Instead I rolled down my window, laid on the horn, and shot a peace sign at everyone. Everyone screamed and whistled. There was a lot of honking besides me. I pulled over and joined the protest. It was really cool. About 50% of the people looked like executives in a big company. Lots of people looked like you could have seen them at a PTA meeting or at the grocery store. There were a few obvious patients. I saw ABC, FOX, and lots of big cameras everywhere. Expect lots of media coverage. I tried to sneak into the class after the protest was over and I got really close. It looked like they were just having a boring lunch. Speak up Southern California!
